Job Summary
Conduct and lead investigations regarding harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage & hour, and policy violations while partnering with managers to fairly address performance and conduct issues. Coach, educate, and empower managers on correct methodologies for preventing and addressing workplace concerns, ensuring a safe environment for employees to voice their issues. Advise on complex leave of absence and accommodation situations, leveraging data to identify trends and recommend preventive strategies that create consistency and equity. Disseminate best practices through communications, training, and process updates, interpreting HR policies and staying abreast of current employment laws. Collaborate regularly with the ER team, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Security to implement long-term solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 8 years in an Employee Relations role, or as an HR Generalist with significant employee relations experience
- Experience working in HR systems; Workday HRIS and HR Acuity preferred
- Ability to effectively manage time to handle multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Deep understanding of U.S. employment laws (Federal, State, and Local)
- Positive, solutions-focused mindset
- Resourceful – able to conceive of and implement things that may not have been done before
- Forward-thinking, innovative individual who seeks to assess, improve and influence change
- Demonstrated ability to influence all employee levels from front line to senior leaders

- Strong technical and analytic skills, comfortable working with HR data
- Active listener; ability to interpret to both verbal and nonverbal communications
