Job Summary
Develop and implement new educational programs, courses, and services while maintaining positive relationships with members, clients, and industry partners. Identify growth opportunities by researching market needs, evaluating existing products for improvements, and designing targeted promotional content. Lead project teams to plan seminars, review presenter qualifications, and approve outlines ensuring alignment with regulatory standards. Manage committees to develop session topics and provide coaching to speakers for consistent quality delivery. Collaborate with internal staff to establish program policies and support governance committees by developing agendas and documentation. Stay current on industry trends, legislative activities, and emerging teaching techniques to enhance program effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Business Management, or related field from an accredited university
- 3+ years of experience in program development, educational program management, and/or event planning
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult education principles or professional development practices, and experience in managing educational programs
- Experience managing budgets and logistical aspects of events, including contracts, reimbursements, and vendor coordination
- Experience with relationship management, working with volunteers or external stakeholders, preferably in a nonprofit or association environment
- Proven ability to speak publicly in an effective and professional manner
- CEBS certification
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with members, clients/potential clients, volunteers and presenters
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills with proven ability to manage conflict, foster collaboration and build a strong team
- A successful track record of being able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Must be able to travel both up to 30-50% of the time based on assignments, program needs, and opportunities
- Must be able to work from our corporate headquarters office in Brookfield, WI, from Monday through Friday of each week
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach above shoulders, and move from place to place
- Must be able to work for longer-than-normal periods of time (upwards of 10-12 hours per day) over consecutive days, which may result in up-to 12 consecutive work days of varying length
- Must be able to regularly stand and walk for long distances and/or extended periods of time
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to unpack and assemble materials and equipment
- Must be able to lift and maneuver crates and suitcases weighing 30-50 lbs.; and occasionally up-to 100lbs in a team-lift capacity
- Must complete a background check
- Must complete employment history verification, education verification (as applicable by position)
- Must complete a credit check (as applicable by position)
- Must complete a motor vehicle records (MVR) check (as applicable by position)
- Must provide 3-5 professional references
- Must complete the Federal I-9 and E-Verify process to demonstrate eligibility to work for the IFEBP
- Must be able to effectively work from an appropriately-equipped home office, per the terms of the Hybrid Work Policy
