Job Summary

Lead development of strategic ecosystem partnerships between China and global partners, translating ecosystem opportunities into executable partnership programs; establish governance structures, drive cross-functional project execution, manage funding budgets, and ensure partnerships deliver measurable scientific, business and ecosystem impact. Act as primary relationship owner for selected priority partners across China, the UK and other global innovation hubs, engaging governments, universities, research hospitals, incubators, start-ups, investors and industry partners; mobilize matrix teams across R&D, BD, Venture Fund, legal, finance to support objectives and build capability with structured partnership processes and performance metrics. Fluent in English and Mandarin for executive-level communications and cross-cultural collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as PhD, MD or Master’s degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, public health, business administration or a related field is strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in life sciences, biopharmaceuticals, medical technology, healthcare innovation, venture investment, business development, external innovation, strategic partnerships or ecosystem development
  • Experience in a multinational organization is highly desirable
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin with executive-level written and verbal communication skills
