Job Summary
Lead the Digital Technology function as Associate Director, responsible for digital services, cybersecurity strategy, enterprise transformation, and IT/OT integration in a regulated aerospace/manufacturing context. Drive enterprise-wide digital modernization, data analytics in decision-making, agile delivery, change management, and incident response planning. Collaborate with compliance, risk, and defence stakeholders to ensure regulatory and contractual requirements are met while building and leading a high-performance technology team and shaping technology strategy for a defense-focused organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered
- Advanced credentials such as an MBA, PMP, TOGAF, or industry-specific certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP) are considered strong assets
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in digital technology, information systems, or operational technology within a manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environment - including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role driving enterprise-level digital transformation
- Strong applied knowledge of business systems, enterprise architecture, and technology strategy
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-year digital modernization programs that have delivered measurable business value, operational efficiency, and technology innovation in regulated or mission-critical settings
- Experienced in project management methodologies (PMLC), systems development life cycles (SDLC), and compliance within regulated industries
- Solid understanding of IT/OT integration, cloud platforms, cybersecurity practices, and digital workplace technologies
- Recognized people leader with a record of building, developing, and inspiring high-performance teams; adept at leading through influence, fostering innovation, and driving cultural change
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage credibly at all levels — from technical teams to executive leadership and government/defence partners
Additional Requirements
- Must be Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Must have resided in Canada for a minimum of five consecutive years
- Candidates must meet security clearance requirements under Controlled Goods Regulations and the Contract Security Program
