Associate Director - Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Data Center Construction

Job Summary
Lead cost management services for a key hyperscale client on large-scale, mission-critical data center construction programs in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Interface with clients, stakeholders, and consultants across all project stages to drive quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management activities. Act as the primary point of contact for reporting overall commercial status, managing risk mitigation strategies, and advising on contracting and procurement strategies. Mentor team members, oversee performance reviews, and implement business management systems to ensure consistent best practices. Provide regular updates on project status and initiatives to senior leadership while identifying business development and cross-selling opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry
- SME in Quantity Surveying, with RICS certification or equivalent accreditation
- Experience supporting large-scale, complex construction projects (data centers or mission-critical preferred)
- Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable
- The role can be performed remotely, with a preference for candidates based in the DFW area, and will require travel to project sites and/or the Turner & Townsend office

Desired Qualifications
- Graduate degree in a related discipline preferred
- Experience supporting large-scale, complex construction projects (data centers or mission-critical preferred)
- Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
