Job Summary
Lead cost management on large-scale, multi-phase construction programs as Associate Director Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor. Responsibilities include leading cost strategy, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and change management across the full project lifecycle; interfacing with clients, stakeholders, and consultants; performing quantity surveying and cost controls; driving commercial management and reporting; supervising and developing team members; ensuring excellence in service delivery; and applying cost risk analysis, contingency planning, and SOX controls where applicable. Also contribute to business development, proposals, and knowledge sharing across projects; require strong client-facing and advisory capabilities and experience in fast-paced capital projects; professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) preferred or in progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related construction-focused discipline
- Graduate degree in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, or similar field is preferred
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS or equivalent) is preferred or in progress
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial management within the construction industry
- Proven experience delivering services on large-scale, complex, multi-phase construction programs
- Strong consultancy background with demonstrated client-facing and advisory experience
- Experience leading teams, managing performance, and mentoring junior professionals
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with strong commercial acumen
