Job Summary
Lead a cost management team to deliver high-quality estimates to clients and manage ongoing margin levels and monthly fee forecasts. Develop new business opportunities by identifying cross-selling prospects and leading proposals for new work or variations. Produce real estate estimates in the CIQS elemental format from class D through class A, ensuring quality assurance on team outputs. Manage staff recruitment, performance reviews, and input into formal management processes while attending networking events. Requires 15+ years of post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying, CIQS certification, and government security clearance. Full-time role with CAD $125,000–$140,000 base salary, hybrid work, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- experienced Senior Cost Consultant/Associate Director
- minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience
- 8 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and estimating
- Recognized university degree
- Certification in relevant professional organizations (CIQS/RICS)
- Have, or be able to quickly gain your government of Canada security clearance (reliability level)
- Be competent and well versed in producing real estate estimates in the CIQS elemental format
- Experienced in providing quality assurance on estimates produced by team members
