Job Summary
Lead end-to-end credit relationships for a defined portfolio of large commercial clients, focusing on loan origination and ongoing portfolio quality oversight. Collaborate with client relationship managers to structure, deliver, close, and monitor loan transactions; prepare and present credit pitches; manage the credit approval process with risk management and GRM; develop strong client relationships with RBC partners; conduct due diligence to balance credit risk with strategic mitigants; maintain portfolio quality through proactive monitoring and annual renewals. The role requires strong financial analysis, credit assessment, and communication skills, with experience in commercial lending and a background in business, economics, accounting, or finance.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance
- Minimum three years’ experience in commercial lending at a major financial institution
- Strong quantitative, financial modeling, and analytical skills
- Professional verbal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail in financial analysis
- Strong organizational skills, ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Bilingual in French and English (Nice-to-have)
