Job Summary
Lead the overall management and direction of Corporate Accounting departmental operations, primarily within the Expenses team. Provide leadership for corporate financial policies, consolidations, and governance while maintaining the system of accounts and ensuring data integrity. Execute monthly closing processes, coordinate with external auditors, and develop internal controls and departmental policies. Manage staff functions including performance appraisals, training, and disciplinary actions. Liaise with other departments and regulatory bodies like the SEC and IRS to ensure proper accounting treatment and information maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Ten or more years of related accounting experience
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Combination of public accounting and/or industry experience
