Job Summary
Associate Director Contracts role leading a Contracts team for DoD government programs from a Cambridge, MA location with a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities include mentoring a contracts professionals team across proposal support, negotiation, administration, and closeout; partnering with programs, finance, and legal to develop winning contract strategies; ensuring adherence to FAR/DFAR and internal policies; negotiating complex prime contracts and subcontracts; identifying improvements and implementing effective contract management processes. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of DoD contracts experience, 5+ years of leadership, deep FAR/DFAR knowledge, and the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance with the potential for TS clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of DoD contracts experience (research & development, systems integration, sustainment a plus)
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing a contracts team
- Deep understanding of FAR, DFAR, and contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FFP, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- DoD Secret Clearance (must be able to obtain TS clearance)
- Bonus points for: EVMS experience, MBA/JD or advanced degree, DoD Top Secret Clearance, professional contracting certifications (CFCM, CPCM)
