Job Summary
Associate Director responsible for overseeing B2C and B2B content marketing programs to drive revenue and customer engagement across channels; manages a Content Marketing Analyst, coordinates with enterprise communications, and leads editorial processes, strategy, and multi-channel campaigns; requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making with experience in WordPress, Marketo, and Google Analytics, plus a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in content marketing or related fields.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, editorial/journalism, communications, or a related field
- Proven experience developing and executing content marketing strategies including content creation, distribution, and performance analysis
- Experience with email campaigns targeting multiple audiences and providing campaign reports to senior leadership
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping, persona development, and customer segmentation
- Experience with content analytics tools and measuring metrics such as engagement, conversion, and satisfaction
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft compelling content
- Attention to detail to ensure branding, style, and compliance
- Experience leading freelance writers and editors, managing priorities and invoices
- Familiarity with WordPress, Marketo, Google Analytics, Jira/Confluence
- Understanding of web UX, digital accessibility, SEO, and analytics
- Ability to develop content plans that support lead generation, retention, and business growth
- Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
