Job Summary
Associate Director, Northern Region Complex Care and PSW Services leads strategic and operational delivery across multiple sites, overseeing complex care and PSW services, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care, program performance, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and staff development. The role includes directing program strategy, quality improvement, budgeting, governance, risk management, stakeholder relationships, and community partnerships, with emphasis on equity and inclusion. Requires a post-secondary degree in human services/health care or equivalent, 7+ years of management experience in service delivery and finance, 5+ years in direct service related to the population served, and leadership in complex care/PSW environments; travel within Ontario is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in human services / health care or equivalent
- Management experience of at least 7 years including: service delivery and program development, human resources and finance
- Minimum of five years’ experience in direct service
- Relevant leadership and program management experience within Complex Care and/or PSW Services environments
- Expert knowledge in at least one of: supportive housing, complex care, seniors, personal support services, mental health and substance abuse
- Extensive knowledge of the social and health services field, including trends, funding sources, regulatory framework and service delivery systems
- Experience supervising senior level staff and knowledge of management theory and practice
- Broad knowledge of community resources and external partnerships
- Regular and reliable access to a vehicle
- Knowledge of unionized workplace environments is an asset
