Job Summary
Associate Director, Clinical Scientist in Ophthalmology leads design and execution of ophthalmology clinical studies, contributing to program development, including protocol development, medical monitoring plans, SAPs, and clinical study reports. Supports cross-functional teams (internal/external vendors) in early and/or late-stage development, communicates strategy grounded in literature, and prepares information for external meetings. Requires extensive pharmaceutical clinical drug development experience (≥10 years), strong medical writing skills, knowledge of GMP/GCP, and the ability to operate in a matrix environment. The role is on-site in Cambridge, MA with hybrid work (4 days on site).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced degree or equivalent education/degree in life science/healthcare preferred (PhD/PharmD/MSc)
