Job Summary
Lead end-to-end biomarker strategies for assigned Neuroscience clinical development programs, integrating biomarker concepts into study design, execution, and reporting; oversee assay selection/validation, biomarker data generation/interpretation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with program objectives and regulatory requirements; develop training on biomarker integration for clinical teams and stakeholders; role involves translating non-medical scientific concepts into study planning and partnering with external vendors to maximize value of biomarker data across portfolios.
Required Qualifications
- PhD degree is required with a minimum of 6 years industry experience
- Experience with biomarker development and implementation in clinical development is required
- Neuroscience experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent interpersonal and communication/presentation skills across cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements for clinical trials and regulatory filings
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience in biomarker strategies, assay selection/validation, data generation, and interpretation
- Experience managing external vendors and contract laboratories
- Experience with biomarker data management and sample retention/inventory governance
- Ability to operate in a matrix organization and lead cross-functional collaborations
