Job Summary
Develop global procurement strategies for individual categories by partnering with VP-level stakeholders and defining strategic value drivers with key suppliers. Build comprehensive annual strategic plans that align with business goals while integrating ESG measures into sourcing practices. Lead a team of managers to achieve performance targets, providing tailored coaching and evaluating team capabilities. Drive end-to-end procurement processes from sourcing strategy through contract negotiation, leveraging market intelligence to optimize processes and manage procurement risks. Ensure effective project management from initiation to completion, utilizing data analytics to develop continuous improvement programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business or operations function
- Previous experience leading category teams, partnering with major suppliers, and reporting to senior leaders
- Comprehensive expertise in category management, including market analysis, cost and financial assessment, ensuring strategic and informed procurement decisions
- Fluency in negotiation and bidding
- Adept in overseeing complex projects with a focus on effective change management
