Job Summary
Conduct external relations and proactive engagement with employers seeking to hire talent, cultivating professional opportunities for Agnes Scott students through outreach and internship development. Identify, develop, and nurture employer and alumni relationships via on-site visits and networking events to expand Sophomore Class Atlanta Leadership Experience opportunities. Collaborate with academic departments and faculty to assess high-impact learning opportunities while recruiting, training, and supervising CEC student ambassadors. Manage internship funding programs, oversee designated funds, and maintain up-to-date employer information via the Handshake platform. Plan and facilitate on-campus and virtual events, workshops, and teach the Career Exploration Lab course to promote career exploration and experiential education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Five years' experience in a professional environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with demonstrated ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
- Highly organized with an ability to multitask and prioritize details for multiple programs and collaborations
- Strong intercultural competence and a desire to work with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds at various levels of experience
- Strong digital skills with ability to adapt to new technological modes of communication, scheduling, record-keeping and digital updates
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to lead, as well as, collaborate in a team environment to meet established goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to write and convey clear, concise, accurate and effective messaging to diverse populations
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact in a positive, helpful manner with a wide variety of personalities/constituencies
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
- Some travel required
