Job Summary
Champion the 1-7-5 planning methodology across all on-market Integrated Brand Teams, providing expert guidance on the 7 anchors, Patient Journey, and AI integration to enhance strategic quality and efficiency. Lead omnichannel and AI adoption by developing resources and best-practice guidance, while creating AI agents to serve as brand planning assistants. Identify and implement annual improvements to planning processes that reduce administrative burden and accelerate strategic execution. Educate US Area Brand Planning Champions annually and onboard new IBT members to ensure readiness for the planning cycle. Analyze operational gaps to develop tools that improve IBT agility, and drive impact through active partnership with International Brand Excellence and cross-functional working groups. Serve as the single point of contact between on-market IBTs and the Project Manager Team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior AbbVie brand planning experience
- Deep expertise in the 1-7-5 planning process
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and organizational capability across complex, matrixed environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize marketplace trends, competitive intelligence, and external data sources into actionable insights
- Proven track record of inspiring change and influencing outcomes without direct management authority
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills across diverse organizational functions and leadership levels
- Experience managing multiple business priorities simultaneously, adapting to the unique needs of different markets and product lifecycle stages
- Strong project and matrix management skills with a history of delivering results in cross-functional team settings
