Associate Director, Biostatistics

Job Summary
Lead statistical thinking and contributions to the delivery of studies, development plans, regulatory strategy, and health technology assessment across multiple studies/indications. Direct project work with statistics staff and CRO partners to ensure delivery to standards, quality, and time. Provide high-quality design options and decision-support, mentor statistics staff, and contribute to methodological advances. Requires 3 years’ experience and an MSc/PhD in Statistics or related field, strong R/SAS programming, and familiarity with regulatory requirements. Office-based role in Boston, MA; collaboration with in-house and CRO teams; ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage complex projects.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience and an MSc/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics (containing a substantial statistical component), or recognized equivalent to stats MSc
- Strong knowledge of programming in R and/or SAS
- Knowledge of the technical and regulatory requirements related to the role
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships
- PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics is preferred
- Project management skills
- Proficiency in SAS and R languages
- Knowledge of Bayesian statistics from theory to computation is a plus
