Job Summary
Define test strategies for automation, regression, and smoke testing while managing and leading a team of QA professionals. Prepare automation test plans, deploy frameworks, and oversee end-to-end tasks including scoping, estimation, planning, work allocation, defect management, and UAT support. Coordinate test data and environments, communicate risks, and ensure all execution activities meet procedural requirements. Implement a QA metrics framework to drive continuous improvement in testing processes. Work in shifts and provide weekend support as needed for project timelines.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years Required
- Strong experience in functional and automation testing for web applications and microservices
- Hands-on expertise in Java, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and BDD frameworks
- Experience in API automation and testing using Rest Assured, Postman, and SoapUI
- Solid SQL skills for data validation and ETL testing
- Experience designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks from scratch
- Proficiency in performance testing for applications, microservices, and APIs
- Experience creating detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases aligned to business requirements
- Strong manual testing capabilities including test case design, execution, and defect management
- Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing QA teams
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, product, and business stakeholders
- Ability to drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Experience in managing performance, building team capability, and driving talent development
- Experience leveraging AI-driven testing tools and emerging technologies to modernize QA practices
- Demonstrated ability to scale automation capabilities and improve testing efficiency across the enterprise
- Forward-thinking mindset with a passion for adopting innovative solutions in quality engineering
- Should be willing to work in shifts and provide QA support on weekend as per the project requirements
