Job Summary
The Associate Director oversees program operations to deliver high-quality clinical, recovery, and rehabilitative services for adults with mental health needs. Responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, providing direct services and crisis management, conducting psychosocial assessments, monitoring compliance with standards, and maintaining partnerships with community providers. Candidates should possess strong leadership skills, knowledge of best practices in mental health treatment, and effective communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker with current, valid NYS registration
- LMSW
- LMHC required
- Four years minimum postmaster’s clinical experience providing services to adults with serious mental illness
- At least 2 years minimum progressive administrative and/or supervisory experience
- Excellent understanding of state and city OMH and Medicaid regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PROS program is preferable though not required
- Trainings in Wellness Self-Management
- Family Psychoeducation
- Motivational Interviewing
