Associate Director and Director - Commercial Advisory & Transactions, Energy Transition

Job Summary
Originate new energy transition opportunities by strengthening client relationships with strategic investors, developers, and large energy users. Lead end-to-end transaction execution across the full deal cycle, including structuring, equity and debt raising, financial modelling, and negotiations. Deliver integrated strategic, commercial, and financial advice to support clients on growth and transaction agendas while leveraging multidisciplinary teams. Build and nurture a positive, collaborative team culture within the Sydney-based Energy Transition group. This role focuses on the full energy value chain, from generation to retail markets, advising corporates and governments on decarbonisation strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in M&A and project finance advisory
- Deep knowledge of the energy market fundamentals
- Relevant knowledge of technologies
- Relevant knowledge of supply chains
- Relevant knowledge of policy and regulatory frameworks
- Knowledge of general project development challenges
- Knowledge of project development opportunities
- Proven experience in a transaction role within an advisory environment
- Ability to operate independently
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional workstreams
- Ability to collaborate with broader stakeholders across engagements
- Demonstrated strong proficiency in engagement delivery
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality work
