Job Summary
Lead the onsite Clinical Education team in Austin, Texas, by managing day-to-day operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination. Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on clinical training to customers while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, FDA regulations, and quality standards. Partner with leadership to plan activities, onboard new members, and implement process improvements that enhance training efficiency. Serve as a player-coach, providing coaching, feedback, and performance support to team members. This role requires regular onsite presence, up to 30% travel including evenings and weekends, and a Bachelor's degree with an active NP, PA, or RN license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Current, active, and unrestricted NP, PA, or RN license
- Must be based locally in the Austin, TX area and able to work onsite regularly; this is not a remote position
- 3–5 years of clinical experience with facial injectables
- 2–4 years of people management or team leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering educational presentations and hands-on training to small and large groups
- Strong ability to coach, influence, and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and prioritization skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of FDA requirements and regulatory considerations applicable to the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio of products
- Ability to travel up to 30%; some evening, overnight, and weekend travel may be required
- Must perform all duties in compliance with FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO 13485, Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and all other applicable international regulatory requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with team members, leadership, and customers
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow company procedures and SOPs
- Ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data, draw valid conclusions, and communicate effective findings
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear; up to 8 hours per day
- Regularly required to lift and carry up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds
- Duties also involve daily keyboard data entry
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
- Requires regular presence in a (clinical or engineering or animal) laboratory setting where protective equipment or other health and safety measures and training is required to protect against chemical, biological or other hazards
