Job Summary
Lead due diligence, licensing, and integration activities for the Innovative Medicine Office, providing operational and safety recommendations for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Own end-to-end development of product and company safety integration plans while managing third-party agreements and cross-functional collaboration with Business Development and R&D teams. Negotiate with external partners and senior internal stakeholders to drive business outcomes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and governance standards. Identify and mitigate risks, champion continuous improvement initiatives leveraging approved AI tools, and support audit and inspection processes. Work across global time zones with up to 10% travel, applying subject matter expertise in quality and compliance to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Advance degree
- Minimum of 8 years of relatable work experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development/Operations, Medical Affairs, or a related healthcare field, including experience supporting operational processes, workflows, and systems
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and coordinating cross-functional activities in a highly matrixed, regulated environment
- Working knowledge of GxP, quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical operations
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex operational, regulatory, and business topics clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex issues, assess risks and trade-offs, develop pragmatic solutions, and make sound recommendations in a fast-paced, regulated environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing business needs
- Proven ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively with senior leaders, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders across a highly matrixed global organization
- Ability to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment that supports accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Ability to leverage data and insights to support decision-making, business recommendations, and operational improvements
- Digital fluency, including the ability to use approved productivity, collaboration, and emerging technology tools to improve efficiency, workflow management, and business outcomes
- Ability to work effectively across multiple global time zones across cultures and operating environments
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%, based on business need
