Job Summary
Lead due diligence, integration, and divestiture management for licensing transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances within the Innovative Medicine Office of the Chief Medical Officer. Own end-to-end development of safety integration plans, support third-party agreement governance, and drive cross-functional stakeholder engagement to align business outcomes with regulatory requirements. Negotiate with external partners, identify operational risks, and champion continuous improvement initiatives using approved AI and digital tools to optimize workflows. Provide audit and inspection support while ensuring all activities adhere to quality, compliance, and regulatory standards. This hybrid role in High Wycombe, UK, requires three days on-site weekly with a planned relocation to Maidenhead in October 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 8 years of relatable work experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development/Operations, Medical Affairs, or a related healthcare field, including experience supporting operational processes, workflows, and systems
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and coordinating cross-functional activities in a highly matrixed, regulated environment
- Working knowledge of GxP, quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical operations
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex operational, regulatory, and business topics clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex issues, assess risks and trade-offs, develop pragmatic solutions, and make sound recommendations in a fast-paced, regulated environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing business needs
- Proven ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively with senior leaders, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders across a highly matrixed global organization
- Ability to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment that supports accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Ability to leverage data and insights to support decision-making, business recommendations, and operational improvements
- Digital fluency, including the ability to use approved productivity, collaboration, and emerging technology tools to improve efficiency, workflow management, and business outcomes
- Ability to work effectively across multiple global time zones across cultures and operating environments
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%, based on business need
