Job Summary
Associate Director, AI Engineer – Remote role leading the engineering strategy and delivery of an agentic AI platform. Responsible for architecture, design, development, deployment, and optimization of scalable, secure AI-driven systems; partner with product, data, architecture, security, and business teams to define platform standards and roadmaps; drive AI lifecycle excellence and production readiness; manage and mentor engineering teams; build reusable AI services and enable continuous improvement. Requires Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in technology leadership/software engineering, strong expertise in modern app development, cloud, data, and AI tech, and ability to translate early-stage concepts into practical AI-enabled solutions. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Six plus years of experience in technology leadership, solution architecture, software engineering, or prototype development
- Experience translating early-stage concepts into functional prototypes or PoCs
- Strong knowledge across modern application development, cloud platforms, data and AI technologies
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical efforts and align with business goals
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferred in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related technical field
- Proven leadership experience in technology leadership, solution architecture, software engineering, or prototype development
- Track record of translating early-stage concepts into functional prototypes or PoCs
