Job Summary
Support the development and execution of the Primary Biliary Cholangitis Marketing strategic plan, focusing on regional engagement initiatives, insight gathering, and events management. Drive the implementation of key regional priority opportunities and activations while orchestrating Gilead's presence at major liver events and sponsorships. Manage agency partners to deliver on the annual tactical plan within budget, ensuring alignment with commercial strategic priorities. Lead internal and external audiences on presentation development, uphold compliance with all regulations, and coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales teams. This field-based role requires up to 75% travel and weekend/overnight availability.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of professional experience
- 8+yrs MS/MA or MBA
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related fields
- Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales and commercial policies and practices
- Previous experience in marketing and/or pharmaceutical sales
- MBA or other advanced business or public health degree
- Liver experience and relationships
- Strong customer focus
- Adept at forming and maintaining a collaborative work environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and writing skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics
- Listens carefully to others' points of view, adapts style and content based on audience, and seeks to understand others' motivations and needs
- Demonstrated excellence in project management, effectively managing multiple projects/priorities
- Must be able to exercise strong leadership skills
- Must uphold a compliance mindset
- Must collaborate with a diverse set of internal stakeholders and external opinion leaders
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend- and overnight travel
- Must be located in the Midwest (Illinois, Michigan or Minnesota)
