Job Summary
Monitor the health and safety of individuals served while ensuring living environments and program activities comply with regulatory requirements. Coordinate activities, support individuals with activities of daily living, and schedule staff for residential or day services programs. Perform miscellaneous duties including covering staff shortages, administering medications, and participating in individual program planning teams. Assist in meal preparation while following diet orders and kitchen sanitation procedures. Maintain detailed documentation of activities and developmental progress. Intervene during aggressive or inappropriate behavior by implementing appropriate behavior programs. Oversee maintenance of residential facilities and transportation vehicles. Manage house petty cash and individual finances for purchasing groceries or supplies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience working in related field
- Position requires certification in medication administration, CPR and first aid - can obtain after hire
