Job Summary
Associate, Diligence Management (Private Equity) leads and coordinates end-to-end fund due diligence for Brookfield’s private equity funds, partnering with Client Relationship Managers, Fundraise Management, Investor Relations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Tax to prepare diligence materials (DDQs, RFPs, RFIs, PPMs, data sets, case studies) and manage diligence deliverables from fund launch through fundraising. The role focuses on working with private equity investors in the Americas with potential coverage of EMEA or APAC, and involves planning diligence plans, coordinating client calls and on-sites, creating materials prior to launch, and ensuring timely responses to investor diligence requests while maintaining high-quality content and strong client communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business management, marketing, communications or other relevant discipline
- 4+ years of experience in private equity fund marketing, due diligence, sales, client services or other fundraising or client function
- Familiarity with investment products and services; experience in an institutional private fund marketing environment is highly desired
- Strong project management skills; experience across multiple projects simultaneously in a global environment
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to work with clients, CRMs, senior investment professionals and internal teams under tight deadlines
- Proficiency with relevant software tools or equivalents (Salesforce, Loopio, PowerBI, Mercatus, Seismic)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong understanding of private equity asset class and LP investor needs
- Experience engaging with diverse geographies (Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, APAC) as part of due diligence and fundraising
