Job Summary
Associate, Development engaged in donor relations and portfolio stewardship within United Way Miami. Responsible for meeting fundraising goals within an account portfolio, donor cultivation, and managing donor engagement using Andar CRM. Develop and implement annual donor relations plans, support sponsorships and events, generate and analyze reports, and provide administrative support for donor relations activities. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent nonprofit fundraising experience), 2–3 years in nonprofit donor relations, and strong communication and organizational skills. Hybrid schedule (2 days remote, 3 days on-site) in Miami, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or donor relations
- Two to three years of nonprofit donor relations/fundraising experience
- Experience with donor management software (e.g., Andar) is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
