Job Summary
Associate Development Engineer to design product and manufacturing components using CAD, perform FEA to verify aerospace bearing standards and performance, develop and improve manufacturing processes, create process documentation and tooling, support Lean manufacturing initiatives, troubleshoot production issues, collaborate with engineering, quality, purchasing, and operations, analyze production data for quality and productivity improvements, and support on-time delivery in aerospace production environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of engineering, manufacturing engineering, product development, or machine shop experience
- Experience with CAD software is required
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is preferred
- Experience in machining, manufacturing processes, or aerospace manufacturing environments is preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
