Job Summary
Implement new features and improve performance of existing applications while designing and integrating cloud-based SaaS solutions into Risk Technology processes. Manage application infrastructure to support failover and disaster recovery, ensuring strict adherence to industry standards for unit testing, source control, and deployment. Evaluate emerging technologies for suitability, develop rich desktop and web UI applications, and support FIX Connectivity setup and certification. Document all processes for internal and regulatory reviews and observe user feedback to drive software improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience implementing new features and improving performance of existing applications
- Experience designing and implementing new processes and applications
- Knowledge of cloud-based and SaaS solutions
- Knowledge of Risk Technology processes
- Knowledge of industry standard practices for unit testing
- Knowledge of industry standard practices for source control
- Knowledge of industry standard practices for deployment
- Experience designing and managing application infrastructure to support failover and disaster recovery
- Ability to evaluate new and emerging technologies and their suitability for Risk Technology applications
- Ability to document processes for internal and regulatory reviews
- Ability to test and deploy applications
- Ability to observe and document user feedback to improve software
- Experience supporting FIX Connectivity set up and certification of new sessions and gateways
- Ability to develop rich User Interface (UI) applications for both desktop and web deployment
