Associate Designer

Associate Designer will utilize strong fashion acumen to create and interpret concepts to generate final products for specific brands, collaborating across departments to manage development from initial concept through production across multiple brands. This is a permanent full-time role. Responsibilities include executing brand/category with minimal direction from the lead Designer, conceptualizing and creating compelling product for monthly deliveries, creating moodboards, technical flats, and line guides, sourcing materials with minimal guidance, attending fittings, building CADs/tech packs/BOMs, partnering with tech designers to align design vision and complete fittings, collaborating with Product Development to retrieve fabric/FOB costing and explore alternatives, and mentoring assistants to refine design development processes. Required competencies include garment development, fabrics, patterns, construction, hand sketching, color story, conveying silhouettes through tech packs and CADS, designing within cost parameters, recoloring artwork and prints, staying current with market trends, translating sales data into design scope, strong communication and organizational skills, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment. Minimum qualifications include 4-5+ years in fashion design and leadership/management experience. Preferred qualifications include a fashion design degree and a portfolio/work sample submission. The role emphasizes on-site design work in Los Angeles with opportunities to work across multiple REVOLVE-owned brands.
