Associate Designer

Associate Designer at Highlights for Children, a junior designer role within the Consumer Product Development portfolio. Supports the Creative Director and senior designers across magazines, books, activity kits, subscription boxes, and other print publications for children; responsibilities include interior magazine design, creating cover wraps, assisting with new business dummies for presentations, preparing files for print, supporting book design work, and producing collateral materials. Must demonstrate 2–3 years of design experience in children's publishing and/or media, proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, strong production skills and printing knowledge, collaborative and well-organized communication, with a BFA or professional equivalent; familiarity with brand guidelines and willingness to learn company systems (Censhare, Workfront, title management) is preferred.
