Job Summary
Design and update life support system components for oxygen delivery systems and interface assemblies while ensuring all work meets customer specifications, regulatory standards, and quality requirements. Review and validate technical documentation including specs, drawings, and test procedures, then perform engineering analysis and project execution aligned with industry standards. Apply mechanical design expertise to meet deadlines and budget goals by collaborating cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams. Develop and execute verification and validation plans, presenting technical information to internal and external stakeholders while maintaining accurate documentation. This full-time role supports a leader in aerospace and defense manufacturing, requiring proficiency in SolidWorks and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 1-3 years of design engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and training
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
