Job Summary
Associate Dentist - Part Time at a holistic dental practice. Perform initial dental assessments, develop treatment plans in line with holistic/biologically based dentistry, and perform procedures such as extractions, fillings, and restoration. Operate and interpret dental radiography (X-rays) and utilize CEREC technology for crown and bridge work. Prescribe and administer medications per holistic health practices, measure and fit dental appliances for patient comfort, maintain accurate patient records, and refer to specialists when needed. Stay current with advances in holistic dentistry and educate patients on the connection between oral health and overall health.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution
- Valid state dental license and malpractice insurance
- Minimum of two years of relevant dental experience
- Proficiency in modern dental technology, including digital radiography and CEREC equipment
- Ability to work part-time hours at our Round Rock, Texas, location
- Keen interest in biological/holistic dentistry and patient-centered care
