Job Summary
Obtains complete dental history and physical data on patients, performs comprehensive dental exams, and interprets diagnostic procedures to determine therapeutic plans. Administers medications and injections per licensing guidelines while managing dental emergencies and providing continuity of care between visits. Adheres to HIPAA rules, maintains patient confidentiality, and reviews records to synthesize data for preliminary diagnoses. Interviews patients regarding maintenance, instructs families on treatment, and refers cases as appropriate. Provides telephone triage, follow-up calls, and community resource recommendations. Requires Indiana State License, DDS/DMD degree, and CPR certification. Located in Marion, Indiana (PRN), with potential coverage in Portland and Elwood.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited Dental School
- Possession of an Indiana State License to Practice Dentistry
- CSR certificate
