Job Summary
Provide theory and clinical instruction for ADN students; maintain regular, posted office hours; collaborate on nursing curriculum development; maintain clinical competency and develop teaching methodologies; travel to clinical sites within an 80 mile radius; perform other related duties. Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing with two years of clinical experience and an active nursing license in Arkansas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing with two years of recent clinical experience
- Active, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Arkansas
- Demonstrated expertise and competence in nursing practice
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing with two years of recent clinical experience preferred
- Previous experience in nursing education preferred
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must submit a completed PCCUA employment application
- Three professional letters of reference
- Photocopies of transcripts for all post-secondary work as well as nursing licensure
