Job Summary
The Associate Dean of Residence Life, Housing, and Student Wellbeing provides leadership in student housing, overseeing operations, staff, and programming. Responsibilities include managing the Bulldogs CARE Center, enhancing student wellbeing initiatives, and ensuring compliance within the Office of Community Standards. The role requires a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion while fostering student success and retention through innovative programming. Ideal candidates will possess a Master's degree and significant experience in residence life and student conduct, along with strong supervisory and leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, education, student affairs, or related
- Five years of professional work experience in residence life and housing
- Experience with student wellbeing, wellness programs, and/or health education outreach programs
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Must submit to and pass a DOJ background check and a pre-employment physical
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred CPR/AED/First Aid Certificate
- Preferred Mental Health First Aid and QPR Suicide Gatekeeper Instructor Certificate
