Job Summary
Lead program development and evaluation for a nursing education program. Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the curriculum to support outcomes; develop classroom/clinical schedules; assure student placement in clinical settings; teach courses and supervise students in clinical settings; counsel, support, tutor, and conduct disciplinary steps when needed; orient new faculty and mentor existing faculty; collaborate with clinical sites to create partnerships and clinical experiences; manage Epic access to supervise students in clinicals; perform other duties consistent with the role. Requires NH RN license or eligibility, Master’s in Nursing (Doctorate preferred), and relevant teaching/academic administration experience; ACEN and NH Board of Nursing standards knowledge; nursing education or administration certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- NH RN license or eligibility to obtain an RN license in New Hampshire
- Earned Master’s Degree in Nursing or higher
- Earned Doctorate in Nursing with strong emphasis in nursing education and academic administration preferred
- 3 years of relevant teaching and academic administrative experience preferred
- Certification in specialty area, nursing education, or administration preferred
