Job Summary
Associate in PwC Strategy& deals advisory practice focused on M&A, post-merger integration, and value creation. Responsibilities include conducting market sizing and forecasting analyses, competitive benchmarking, business plan evaluation, customer and financial analyses, survey analysis, industry research, and website scraping. Produce client-ready outputs in Excel and PowerPoint; build collaborative relationships within the team; contribute to practice enablement and business development; stay abreast of M&A trends and develop automation capabilities and genAI tools as required. Travel not specified for this role; positions are based in India (Kolkata and Gurugram) with a focus on delivering value for private equity and corporate clients across sectors.
Required Qualifications
- MBA from premier B-Schools (preferred)
- 2 to 3 years of industry experience
- Relevant experience in private equity, commercial due diligence, target screening and / or M&A advisory is an asset
- Ability to understand, contextualise, and solve commercial problems through independent analysis and research
- Ability to work as an integrated team member with the UK team in delivering client work
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- MS Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI) is an asset
