Job Summary
Embedded in Jerry.ai's central Data Science & Analytics team and anchored in a core business area (growth, product, AI and automation, strategic partnerships), own the analytical function end-to-end for that unit. Define the right business questions, determine what data to pull, build metrics and dashboards, run analyses and experiments, surface insights, and translate findings into concrete recommendations for product, growth, finance or operations. You will work with SQL (and/or Python), design experiments, surface data insights to move key metrics, and communicate clearly with stakeholders to drive decisions and impact. You will possess a first-principles mindset, own problems from hypothesis through implementation, and actively contribute to shaping strategy and outcomes across the business. Our ideal candidate has 1+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, a track record of solving ambiguous problems, and the ability to influence leadership decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in data science, consulting, investment banking, or high-growth technology environment
- Strong analytical skills; ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently
- Experience with SQL and/or Python
- Ability to define problems, design experiments, build metrics, and surface data insights
- Strong communication skills; able to influence decisions at leadership level
- Ownership mindset; able to drive end-to-end initiatives
