Job Summary
Facilitate awareness of privacy and security risks, policies, and safeguards across FAS systems. Ensure systems are fortified to university standards and implement sustainable vulnerability management processes. Promulgate university-wide privacy initiatives, conduct data safety reviews for research projects, and perform risk assessments. Maintain awareness of emerging threats, serve as a trusted advisor to faculty, staff, and students on privacy matters, and prepare briefings for FAS members. Report privacy metrics quarterly to the University Chief Information Security and Data Privacy Officer. This Associate Data Privacy and Information Security Officer role supports Harvard's central administration in protecting data and fostering a secure environment for the university community.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years' post-secondary education or relevant work experience
