Job Summary
Associate, Credit Management in Corporate Client Group focused on managing credit risk for syndicated and bilateral loan facilities and derivative lines. Responsibilities include credit amendments, annual reviews, reviewing loan documentation, risk assessments, financial modeling, portfolio monitoring, identifying deteriorating risk situations and proposing actions to Team Leader & Director, ensuring compliance with loan agreements and bank policies, and building cross-functional relationships within RBC. Nice-to-have: MBA or professional designation (CFA/CPA) or post-graduate degree; banking experience in relationship management, credit processes, risk analysis; familiarity with capital markets credit process and internal systems (CCMS, TMS & Newton).
Required Qualifications
- Strong credit, analytical and technical skills
- ability to critically assess financial statements and other corporate and commercial client reports
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- read and understand complex legal documents
- prior Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills
- Bilingualism English and French
