Job Summary
Manage credit risk for Corporate Client Group borrowers by preparing amendments, conducting annual reviews, and monitoring financial performance through daily industry and regulatory analysis. Assess deteriorating risk situations via credit analysis, verify covenant compliance, and ensure bank systems accurately reflect credit agreement terms. Actively follow early warning signals and propose corrective actions to protect the bank's funds while maintaining data integrity across assigned portfolios.
Required Qualifications
- Strong credit, analytical and technical skills
- Ability to critically assess financial statements and other corporate and commercial client reports and draw reasoned and relevant conclusions to recommend a course of action
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Ability to interact at all levels within a large organization
- Ability to read and understand complex legal documents
- Ability to prioritize

- Bilingualism (English and French)
- MBA
- Professional designation (e.g., CFA or CPA)
- Post-graduate degree with a focus in business, economics, finance, or accounting
- Previous banking experience with relationship management
- Previous banking experience with structuring
- Previous banking experience with writing credit proposals
- Previous banking experience with credit processes
- Previous banking experience with policies
- Previous banking experience with risk analysis
- Ability to communicate and read legal documentation in French
- Familiarity with the Capital Markets credit process
- Familiarity with loan agreements
- Knowledge of internal systems such as CCMS, TMS & Newton
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong Word skills
- Strong PowerPoint skills
