Job Summary
Develop rating standards and technical documentation for environmental sustainability while assessing and rating products against established criteria. Coordinate with expert assessors and conformity agencies to facilitate Green Product Certification for manufacturers, conducting feasibility studies and developing new standards. Advise national and international clients on environmental aspects of products and technologies across industrial and policy levels. Handle national and international projects while managing multiple simultaneous assignments. This role involves travel for 10 to 15 days monthly. Candidates must possess a BE/BTech in Civil, Chemical, Environment, or Mechanical engineering with knowledge of environmental standards and rating programmes.
Required Qualifications
- BE / B Tech (Civil / Chemical / Environment / Mechanical engineering Essential)
- ME / M Tech (Preferred)
- Minimum 70% score at all levels
- Knowledge on Environment standards and rating programmes
- Knowledge on latest environmental technologies
- Capability to work on national / international projects on sustainability at industrial & policy level
- Excellent written and oral abilities to Write technical and non-technical reports
- Good presentation skills
- Maintain relationships with clients
- Willingness to travel & work at different work environments
Desired Qualifications
- 5 – 8 years of consulting experience in Environment & sustainability
- Work experience in manufacturing / production
- Green Buildings
- environment & sustainability department
- Implementation of environment programmes & standards
- Consultancy experience preferable
