Job Summary
Handle a caseload of lower complexity matters under supervision, conducting legal research and producing persuasive writing. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other file documents; attend court events and depositions; provide case analysis and recommendations to insured clients and claim partners on file handling strategy. Build and maintain strong internal and external client relationships, effectively use case management technology, and travel as required to meet business needs. Collaborate with colleagues and partners to deliver exceptional customer service while developing litigation skills under the mentorship of senior lawyers.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent International legal degree; graduate of an accredited law school
- Active license in good standing to practice law in the state(s) in which representation is required
- Regularly attends case related events (e.g. trials, deposition, site visits, etc.) and has the ability to transport to those events
- Valid driver’s license required depending on the location
