Job Summary
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts for customers and suppliers. Advise internal stakeholders on legal matters spanning employment, product liability, environmental, customs, intellectual property, and insurance. Assist general counsel with due diligence and support M&A activities. Manage internal discovery efforts and oversee the company's product liability caseload. Work alongside the general counsel to ensure company policies conform to relevant legal standards.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor
- Admitted to Ohio Bar, or the Bar of another state in which Oatey operates
- 0-2 years In-house corporate law department
- 0-2 years Law firm experience
- 2-5 years In-house corporate legal department, with a manufacturer
- Advanced Microsoft Word advanced skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Pacer system skills
- Intermediate Legal Research Tools (e.g., Westlaw, Practice Point)
