Job Summary
Associate Counsel responsible for supporting corporate and transactional matters for Ivy Rehab Network and affiliated entities, with emphasis on contract review/negotiation, regulatory considerations, and complex transactions. Responsibilities include legal research, drafting and negotiating corporate documents and contracts, advising on regulatory implications, and contributing to educational programs for teammates. Requires a Juris Doctor with at least 5 years of experience in corporate/transactional health law, including experience with mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures; strong leadership, collaboration, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; and excellent communication and analytical skills. Remote work opportunity is available.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate and transactional health law
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare law and regulations (including anti-kickback and self-referral laws), licensing and reimbursement
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and research skills
- Ability to draft, negotiate and review complex contracts and legal documents
- Capacity to contribute to educational programs for Ivy Rehab teammates
