Job Summary
Lead project performance for cost management projects in the North of England, developing regional business plans and managing a team of cost managers. Drive business development by building relationships with new and existing clients, securing new work, and attending site meetings to assess abnormal cost impacts. Prepare feasibility cost plans, pricing documents for tender purposes, and cost reports while managing monthly project billing and work in progress targets. Ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures and support the regional PM team on project delivery. Collaborate with offices in Liverpool, Leeds, and Newcastle to promote cost management services across building sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience of working at Associate/ Lead level
- Proven experience of managing a team
- Experience of delivering real estate projects (not infrastructure) from feasibility through to completion
- Experience of preparing accurate cost plans
- Experience of tendering procedures
- Experience of post contract valuations
- Experience of cost reporting
- Knowledge of the regional market
- Established in the North construction market
- Excellent time management skills
- General organisation skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexible working ability
