Job Summary
Oversee third-party administrators across secretarial, legal, and regulatory functions for funds and SPVs, ensuring consistency and quality of output. Support Directors on legal and governance matters by preparing, reviewing, and executing legal documentation while attending board meetings. Coordinate closing and signing processes by liaising with deal teams and external legal advisors to ensure timely execution. Draft and review board and shareholder meeting minutes for accuracy, maintain corporate instruments and share registers, and manage the incorporation or liquidation of fund structures. Handle ongoing KYC requests in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. This permanent role supports the Madrid fund operations team, focusing on governance and corporate administration for Permira's private credit and private equity vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Strong academic background, ideally with successful completion of a Law qualification
- 5–8 years of relevant experience with an asset manager or service provider administering AIFs structures
- Good understanding of Luxembourg laws and regulations applicable to Alternative Investment fund structures (commercial laws, AIFMD, AML/KYC, etc.)
- Fluent and able to work in English
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously across a variety of products and workstreams
- Highly personable, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Excellent team-working skills; the role involves extensive interaction with both operational and investment professionals globally
- Attention to detail and the ability to interpret and explain data
- An interest in the dynamics of alternative asset management, complemented by a broad understanding of capital markets and investment concepts
- Comfortable working within an international environment involving cross-office collaboration
